Overview:
The “Your Breakthrough: Smart Solutions for Smart Minds (YBT)” project aims to improve the educational experience and social inclusion of highly gifted students (AACC) by leveraging innovative digital tools, teacher training, and inclusive educational strategies. The project focuses on early detection, personalized support, and effective integration of gifted students into mainstream education systems. By developing a range of digital platforms and self-assessment tools, YBT seeks to create a more inclusive, efficient, and supportive learning environment for gifted students, their families, and educational staff.
The project will be implemented through a partnership involving educational institutions, universities, and technology developers from Spain, Italy, Cyprus, and the Netherlands. The partnership will focus on research, development, and dissemination of effective methodologies and tools that address the challenges faced by gifted students in education. The YBT project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ program under the “Cooperation Partnerships in School Education” (KA220-SCH) action, with a total budget of €250,000 over a 30-month period (January 2023 – February 2026).
Aims:
- Improve Early Detection and Diagnosis: Develop innovative digital tools (SELF-SCAN, SMART-APP) to facilitate the identification and diagnosis of gifted students, enabling educational centers to better understand and support them.
- Promote Social Inclusion and Integration: Support the social and academic inclusion of gifted students in school communities, ensuring they receive the attention and opportunities they need to thrive.

- Enhance Teacher Training and Support: Provide educators with practical tools, training, and resources (INFINITY LEARNING platform) to better detect, support, and teach gifted students.
- Leverage Digital Transformation: Design and implement digital learning platforms (MAPFINDER, DISCOVER) to offer interactive enrichment and deep learning experiences for students, teachers, and parents.
- Sustainability and Dissemination: Create lasting impact through local, national, and international dissemination of best practices, fostering a community-wide shift in how gifted education is approached.
These aims are designed to create systemic change in how gifted education is delivered, ensuring that all students, regardless of their unique abilities, are supported and included in the broader educational framework.
